National Sales Manager

As National Sales Manager you will lead the company's efforts to expand our business and our brand, as well as to share our culture with the world. Your main objective is to build and maintain a high performance sales organization and to effectively achieve business objectives and growth.

RESPONSiBILITIES

Lead the 5 Rabbit sales team toward the achievement of sales objectives. Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual company-wide sales forecasts

Create and implement effective direct sales strategies

Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization

Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning

Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary

Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of sales organization

Provide supervision through account visits, work withs, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Manage distributor relationships, goals and performance

Identify the right future distributor partners and negotiate distribution relationships

Proactively identify changes in the market and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly

Work with the 5 Rabbit management team in the development of key customer relationships

 

REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated ability in achieving sales plans

A demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team

Experience and success in recruiting, developing and retaining a high performance sales team

Management experience with success in retail chains as well as on-premise chains

Distributor management knowledge and/or extensive experience on both sides of the supply chain

Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives

Bachelor’s degree in business or sciences

8 years of beer sales and/or distribution experience

5 years of experience managing a direct sales force

 

Skills

Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills

Solid understanding of beer and the beer industry issues and opportunities

Exceptional negotiation skills

Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with CEO and other Managers

Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

Business related computer skills including Excel and VIP (iDig)

Solid understanding of the beer market; including trends, technologies, products, and players
